Getting Ready for the Super Bowl

Even if you’re going to watch the game on TV, it’s a good idea to memorize the numbers of the players you want watch closely. TV announcers have developed a trait of thinking they’re supposed to be entertainers instead of announcers describing the players and the action.

There’s another strategy that works, although it might make you seem a bit antisocial. Take a small, portable radio with an ear plug so you can listen to the broadcast while watching the game.

The best Super Bowl tickets for most of us are free; watching the NFL championship game from the comfort of our homes with friends is hard to beat at any price.
